customers. Funds consist of lines from foreign banks,
funds from international multilateral agencies and also
through accessing capital markets by issuing or selling
bank notes (CDs and CPs).
Itaú BBA has over 100 corresponding banks providing
lines of credit ranging from US$ 5 million to 150 million.
The Bank's Bahamas branch assists Brazilian subsidiaries
internationally and multinational companies in Brazil
to develop sophisticated financial structures and diversify
their options for receiving funds through the following
markets or instruments: foreign currency, Brady bonds,
hedging, working capital, foreign trade, and warranties.
Itaú also has offices in Buenos Aires and New
York, and a branch in Montevideo.
